An Excellent Start to Our Lunchtime Workshops!
Our first Discover Chinese Culture lunchtime workshop brought creativity, calm, and a touch of panda charm to 18ËêÑÇÖÞÎçÒ¹¸£Àû! The Chinese Painting – Pandas session, led by tutors from the Confucius Institute, offered an inspiring hour to unwind and explore the beauty of traditional Chinese art.
With brushes in hand, everyone discovered how to bring one of China’s most beloved animals to life on paper – the gentle panda. The session introduced the elegant techniques of Chinese brush painting, from graceful strokes to the subtle blend of ink and water that captures the panda’s soft fur and expressive spirit.
The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and full of smiles as both beginners and art lovers created their own panda masterpieces to take home. Many shared how calming and uplifting the experience felt – the perfect pause in a busy day.
