SAVEMORE Workshop Lead by Bangor Business School
On the 26 and 27th of May, Dr Sadeque Hamdan, Dr Hanxiong Zhang, Heather He and Professor Adian Gepp organised and ran a workshop titled “Sustainable Aviation and Emerging Technologies: Maximizing Operational and Resource Efficiency (SAVEMORE)” at Bangor Business School.
The workshop was funded by a British Council grant aimed at establishing a larger collaboration in the field of aviation management #GoingGlobalPartnerships. The grant is led by 18ҹ (UK), CentraleSupélec – Université Paris-Saclay (France), and École de Management Normandie (France).
The group now have plans to develop a proposal for European Research Council funding based on a project with six work packages related to aviation optimisation. They have identified additional academic collaborators and potential industry partners to strengthen the bid.
