Ffriddoedd and St Mary's Halls Office
We know that some students may be leaving earlier than normal for the Christmas break. However, we want to reassure those of you who are choosing to remain in Halls beyond the 9th of December and over the holidays, that services will continue to operate as per any previous Christmas closure.
This means that:
- The Halls' Office will be open until 2pm on the 23rd December and reopen on January 4th.
- The security team will be available 24/7 throughout the Christmas holidays.
- You will still be able to report any urgent maintenance via the security team.
- Please log any absence on your myroom account www.bangor.ac.uk/myroom
- You do not need to leave your room keys/fobs/cards.
- The Warden team will be on duty and will be available for any welfare support.
- The Ffriddoedd and Barlows shops will be open, although times will vary ().
- There will be a small calendar of online activities and events during this time.
- The computer facilities and social learning areas on the 5th floor of Pontio will be open throughout the Christmas period (24 hours a day). They will be accessible via the Pontio 5th floor Penrallt/Terrace entrance. Access to Pontio 5th floor will require your Salto card to ‘swipe in’. In the event of any access issues or queries please contact Security on (38) 2795.

Music practice facilities will be available, by appointment only, in the Music building and at Gartherwen. To arrange an appointment please contact Security on (38) 2795.

- 14 - 23 December: The post room will close at 5pm
- 24 - 28 December: Closed
- 29 - 30 December: Open 9am - 12pm
- 31 December: 3 January - Closed
- 4 - 22 January: Open but closing at 5pm
